CleanSpaceTM EX Power Unit

The CleanSpace EX Power Unit is a powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) when worn together with the following compatible items: ▪ A CleanSpace Full Face Mask (PAF-1106, PAF-1014), OR ▪ A CleanSpace EX Half Mask (PAF-0064, PAF-1062, PAF-0063) & Head Harness (PAF-0073), and ▪ A range of CleanSpace particulate and gas/vapour filters. It is intrinsically safe and suitable for use in certain ignitable or potentially explosive atmospheres where there is a risk of explosion. Suitable for environments which require respiratory protection against airborne biohazards, particulates, dust, gas and vapours. IMPORTANT: The CleanSpace Full Face Mask is not intrinsically safe approved for IECEx Ex ib IIIB T150 Db only. Check the site requirements for Intrinsically Safe approvals.

IEC Ex Definitions: ▪ Ignition protection level, ia – for very high protection, ib – for high protection. ▪ Gas Group, I for methane; II for other gases, where IIA for propane, IIB for Ethylene, IIC for hydrogen; IIIA for combustible flyings, IIIB for non-conductive dust. ▪ Equipment protection level for underground mining, Ma for very high protection, Mb for high protection. ▪ Temperature class, T4 for 135°C, T3 for 200°C. ▪ Temperature class for dusts, T150 - Maximum surface temperature 150°C. ▪ Equipment protection level for other gases, Ga – very high protection, Gb – high protection. ▪ Equipment protection level for dusts, Da - very high protection, Db - high protection
