The CITB HSA (Health and Safety Awareness) course is designed to provide an understanding of basic health and safety practices within the construction industry. This course is required for anyone who is looking to obtain a CSCS Green Labourer Card and is aimed at those who have little or no previous experience of health and safety on construction sites.

During the course, participants will learn about various topics related to health and safety, such as identifying hazards and risks, understanding the importance of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the importance of reporting accidents and incidents. The course also covers topics such as manual handling, working at height, and fire safety.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded a CITB certificate that is valid for five years.
